Software experience for over 20 years The history of WERBAS AG and with it accompanying the development of dealer-management-software for the automotive branch for car-dealer, -workshops and –groups begins 1985 with the co-operation of DEKRA e.V. and Eurotax AG. Since this time the experienced software house for the automotive industry offers different solutions. With the establishment of the DEKRA DATA GmbH - so the former name at that time of the today's WERBAS AG - the goal was pursued to build up an enterprise which develops a comprehensive software package for free workshops, car-dealers and the after-market parts supplier. At present the WERBAS AG employs approximately 60 specialists and is concerned with the development and the world-wide selling of system approaches for the automotive industry. The headquarter is since in the middle of 2002 in the area of Stuttgart in the south of Germany. In February 2004 the WERBAS AG was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 for its quality management.
Over 6.500 customers use day by day the WERBAS software solutions for the commodity management (DMS) and many of them accompanied WERBAS AG in the development to today's current systems. Among the users do not only rank car-dealers, free and captive workshops as well as passenger car and commercial motor vehicle enterprises. Also spare-part dealers, forwarding businesses, municipalities and for example the airports in Stuttgart and Berlin rely on the software solutions of WERBAS AG. The target group covers enterprises and institutions of any size, which are occupied with sales, maintenance and the repair of vehicles the each kind.
As a further and strategic partnership, in the year 2007 the cooperation between RepXpert and the WERBAS AG was established. An intelligent software-interface as well as a partnership cooperation within the range market appearance is the basis.
