Audi e-tron FE04 in the spotlight

It’s half-time for Formula E: After the South American leg, the entourage is now on its way to Europe. During the break, we decided to investigate the revised Audi e-tron FE04 in more detail. Among other things, the current version of the car - developed jointly by Schaeffler and Audi - has a new and innovative powertrain. You can find all the technical highlights summarized below.

Individually programmable specification steering wheel with paddles for shifting and recuperation, controls for various motor settings and a display with all key data

18-inch wheels with Michelin all-weather specification tires (with profile as for production cars)

Spark specification chassis featuring a carbon fiber construction with aluminium honeycomb, manufactured by Dallara

Hydraulic dual-circuit braking system, adjustable brake force distribution, KERS system on the rear axle

Battery capacity 34 kWh, of which 28 kWh is usable. Charging time: approx. 45 minutes. Made by Williams Advanced Engineering
